Who we are...
St. Fergus' Primary School caters for children from Primary 1 until Primary 7, when the children transfer to secondary school. St. Fergus is a co-educational school, catering for both boys and girls. The school meets the needs of the Roman Catholic community of the area it serves.
Saint Fergus' Primary School is located in the community of Ferguslie Park in Paisley. Saint Andrew's Academy, also in Paisley, is the associated secondary school. |

Great News!!!
We have just received a cheque for £68.50 from 'RagBag'. We collected 137Kg of textiles for recycling. Well done to everyone who contributed. This means that your unwanted goods have been recycled and will help someone less fortunate to buy good quality clothing at a price he/she can afford.
Once again, thank you for your fantastic support.

DRAGON'S DEN
Our school is once again competing in the ‘Dragon’s Den’ initiative. You may remember that two years ago, Claire Pickett, Chloe Kennedy, Kiera Larkin and Ashleigh McIlreavy won £350 for their enterprise, a shop called ‘Table Top Treats’ and pitching their idea in front of four ‘Dragons’. This time Ellie MacLachlan, Liam Howell, Emma Manson, Stephanie Carroll and Mellissa Crichton will pitch their idea to the ‘Dragons’. It is planned to run a cafe and crèche in the school on Friday afternoons from 2pm until 2.45pm. This means that parents can drop in for tea, coffee and cake while their younger children are entertained by some of our older children (supervised by an adult of course). There would be a small charge for this because it is an enterprise scheme which has to provide a sustainable service and make some money in order that it can keep running. Thanks to all who replied via the tear off slip. This was our Market Research which proved positive because a large number of replies expressed interest in this idea. The children are very enthusiastic and are going to go ahead with this. We will inform you when they are organised.
It is the intention to purchase tea sets from some charity shops in order that the event can be a little bit ‘posh’. However, if any parent/carer has an unwanted tea set, we would be very glad to put it to use. |
